It is the ZCEA mission to see a Zambian where children are acknowleded as rights holders with the same human dignity as adults but where recognition of their vulnerability because of their age and dependence on adults for survival, growth and development affords them more care, safety and consideration than adults.

The ZCEA would like to see a Zambia where children's rights are on top of all national agenda, be it politics, economics, culture or social issues. ZCEA would like to see more children's defenders in Zambia where in individual capacity or as an organisation.
